I have been using Permaset Supercover for years but just recently bought the Permatone color set and just did a test print of a 3 color design on a black shirt. I did a first down white base layer and printed the other 3 colors on top of that. The coverage and opacity of the colors was not good at all. It almost looked like there was no underbase. When I printed the First Down White, it didn’t look as opaque as I expected but not having used it before I wasn’t sure what to expect. I’m not sure what I may have done wrong. I used 110 mesh screens, and did two pulls per color. I have to say I had really high hopes but was very disappointed. Any suggestions would be welcome. Thank you.
squeegie hardness and angle plays a big role. try using bit softer and use a sharper angle, bend the blade a bit. works good for me!
