Well I got into screen printing in a roundabout way. After spending my whole life in first letterpress and then litho Printing when I retired I went into my hobby which was baking bread and selling it at farmers markets. Silk screening was inexpensive so I built a press and started printing my bread bags. That led me to screening a hat with my bakery name along with an apron for when I was at the farmers market. From there I printed cloth shopping bags to sell to the shoppers and would sell out every week. Now I run orders of t shirts, shopping bags, hats for promotion and go Sunday to Thursday leaving Friday for my bread baking because the market opens at 6:00 Saturday. Retirement is busy and fulfilling and I enjoy every minute of every day.
