I have moved yet again, and this time I don’t have access to a hose to power spray my screens clean. It was suggested to me by the shop manager at NC State to lay my screen down in a tray and wash it with a sponge. However, I have had some trouble with being able to remove ink with a sponge. Either I cannot get the ink out of the screen with the soft side, or I begin to scratch off the emulsion and ruin the design with the rough side.
Does anyone have a suggestion for a sponge that works to clean screens non-abrasively but successfully?
And somewhere I can find a plastic tub/tray that is large enough to fit my screen (which is 23"x24")?
